Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to strategicathlete.com and your use or purchase of Strategic Athlete content, digital training programs, subscriptions, and coaching services. By using the site or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms and any offer-specific terms presented before purchase. If you do not agree, do not use the site or purchase a service.

Eligibility

You must be able to enter a binding contract in your location to make a purchase. If you are not legally able to do so, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms and authorize your purchase or participation. The site is not directed to children under 13.

Training and Medical Disclaimer

Strategic Athlete provides general fitness education, programming, and coaching. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, mental-health care, nutrition therapy, or emergency services, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed health professional who understands your individual history.

Exercise and physical training involve inherent risks, including overexertion, illness, falls, equipment failure, and serious injury. Before starting or changing a program, consult an appropriate health professional if you have an injury, medical condition, symptoms, pregnancy, material health concern, or uncertainty about your ability to participate safely. Use appropriate equipment, surroundings, technique, loads, and scaling. Stop training and seek appropriate care if you experience pain, dizziness, chest pain, unusual shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms. Call local emergency services for an emergency.

You are responsible for deciding whether and how to perform any exercise. To the extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume the risks associated with your participation. Results depend on many individual factors, and Strategic Athlete does not guarantee a particular performance, health, body-composition, career, or selection outcome.

Programs and Coaching Services

Product and service pages describe the current price, duration, training frequency, included materials, delivery method, and billing model for each offer. Review those details before purchasing. If these general terms conflict with a more specific written promise shown for an offer at the time of purchase, the more specific offer term controls for that purchase.

Programs other than Personal Coaching are delivered through TrainHeroic. Personal Coaching is delivered through TrueCoach. Use of either platform requires a separate provider account and is also subject to that provider's terms and privacy notice. Strategic Athlete may replace a delivery platform with a reasonably comparable service when necessary and will provide appropriate instructions to affected customers.

Coaching depends on timely, accurate feedback and reasonable communication. A coach may modify, pause, or recommend against training when information you provide indicates that doing so is appropriate, but that judgment is not medical clearance or medical advice.

Purchases, Billing, and Subscriptions

• Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless the checkout states otherwise. Taxes or payment-provider charges may apply where required.
• Stripe hosts the site's current purchase checkouts. PayPal may process legacy payment notifications. Those providers process payment credentials under their own terms and privacy policies.
• You authorize the payment provider to charge the amount and billing schedule disclosed at checkout. You are responsible for providing accurate billing and contact information.
• A recurring subscription continues at the disclosed interval until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not by itself create a refund for earlier charges.
• To cancel a subscription, use the cancellation method available in the relevant checkout or training-platform account, or contact Strategic Athlete before the next renewal date. Access may continue through the paid period unless the offer states otherwise.

Refund Policy

Strategic Athlete offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on its training programs and Personal Coaching unless an offer clearly states a more favorable policy. To request a refund, use the contact page within 30 days of the charge and identify the purchase. For a recurring product, a refund request applies to a charge made within the preceding 30 days; older payments are not refundable unless required by law or expressly agreed in writing. Canceling prevents future charges but is separate from requesting a refund. Nothing in this section limits non-waivable rights provided by applicable law.

Limited Personal License

When you obtain a Strategic Athlete program or other digital material, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your personal, non-commercial training. You do not acquire ownership of the content or permission to copy, publish, sell, sublicense, distribute, upload, publicly display, or create a competing product from it. You may make reasonable personal-use copies where the delivery format permits.

Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Share, sell, or provide another person with your paid materials, account credentials, or access links.
• Scrape, copy, reproduce, or commercially exploit the site or its content without written permission.
• Attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with site operation, introduce malicious code, probe systems without authorization, or misuse forms and provider accounts.
• Impersonate another person, submit information you are not authorized to provide, or use the services for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
• Use Strategic Athlete content or branding in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, certification, employment, or partnership.

Communications and Submissions

You are responsible for information you submit through contact, coaching, email, and training-platform channels. Do not use those channels for emergencies or send payment-card data, government identifiers, medical records, or confidential information that is not needed for the requested service. You grant Strategic Athlete the limited right to use your submission to respond, evaluate your request, provide the service, maintain records, and meet legal or security obligations as described in the Privacy Policy.

If you subscribe to marketing email, you may unsubscribe using the link in any message. Transactional or service communications about an active purchase or coaching relationship may still be sent when necessary.

Intellectual Property

The site, articles, programs, graphics, photographs, videos, logos, downloads, and other Strategic Athlete materials are owned by or licensed to Strategic Athlete and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted without prior written permission. Brief quotations and links may be used where permitted by law and with appropriate attribution.

Affiliate and Third-Party Services

Some resource links are affiliate links, meaning Strategic Athlete may earn a commission if you buy through them at no additional cost to you. The affiliate disclosure on the relevant page provides more context. Links, embedded media, checkout pages, and training platforms operated by third parties are governed by their own terms. Strategic Athlete does not control and is not responsible for a third party's content, availability, security, or independent conduct.

Privacy and Tracking

The Privacy Policy explains what information is collected through site forms, Kit, Netlify, analytics and advertising tags, payments, TrainHeroic, TrueCoach, and media providers. It also explains cookies, retention, disclosures, and available privacy choices.

Availability and Changes

Strategic Athlete may correct, update, suspend, or discontinue site content or a service. Reasonable efforts will be made to preserve paid access or provide an appropriate substitute when a change affects an active purchase. Information may occasionally be incomplete or out of date; verify material requirements, especially official military, public-safety, competition, or employment standards, with the responsible authority.

Suspension and Termination

Strategic Athlete may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, fraud, threats, unlawful conduct, material violations of these terms, unauthorized sharing, or risks to the site, providers, or other users. Where practical, notice and an opportunity to correct the issue will be provided. Terms that by their nature should continue after termination—including payment obligations, license limits, intellectual-property rights, disclaimers, and liability limits—will continue.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site, content, programs, and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Strategic Athlete disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. This disclaimer does not exclude warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Strategic Athlete will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages; lost profits, data, opportunities, or goodwill; or damages caused by third-party platforms or conduct. Strategic Athlete's aggregate liability arising from a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid Strategic Athlete for that service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law prohibits them or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Strategic Athlete from third-party claims, losses, or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful conduct, infringement of another person's rights, unauthorized distribution of paid content, or material breach of these terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by Strategic Athlete's own conduct.

General Terms

These terms, the Privacy Policy, and any offer-specific terms form the agreement governing the relevant use or purchase. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations without written consent; Strategic Athlete may transfer them as part of a business reorganization or sale. Headings are for convenience only.

Changes to Terms

Strategic Athlete may update these terms to reflect changes in services, providers, business practices, or law. The updated date will appear at the top. Material changes affecting an active paid service will receive additional notice where required. Changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date.
